Exmark is a leading outdoor power equipment manufacturer who sells their equipment, parts, and accessories through a network of dealers and distributors.
WF partnered with Herohub to unify Exmark's fragmented and inaccurate parts & accessories shopping experience that gave them limited ability to cross-sell/up-sell parts & accessories. Our reimagined ecommerce experience puts Exmark in control, while allowing customers to shop with their local dealer.
Dealers are central to the Exmark shopping experience, serving as sellers-of-record for all transactions. Customers select and complete their purchase with their local dealer and orders are fulfilled by Exmark's distribution network.
Exmark customers can search for the exact part number they need, shop by serial number/model, or view parts and accessories that are compatible with the vehicles saved in their MyExmark account.
In addition, interactive part diagrams simplify the path from consideration to purchase and remove the dependency on third-party data providers. These diagrams display relevant parts as they are selected via contextual highlights.
A roles-based portal gives Herohub and Exmark admins the ability to manage product data using Herohub's PIM, and allows dealers, distributors, and admins to view orders and generate customized reports.
Users who are enrolled as managers in Exmark's Key Accounts program can approve or reject branch orders, track progress toward rebates, and manage branch participation.
WF & Herohub conducted research among Exmark owners who had transacted on the new shop.exmark.com experience and those who had not to better understand current shopping behaviors, unmet needs, and opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Our study revealed the importance of parts diagrams in the consumer journey, helped us to more accurately personify the shop.exmark.com customer, and established performance and customer experience benchmarks for the Exmark team.
